Lexmark International has announced recent enhancements to their Kofax Mobile Capture Platform. These new enhancements, made with the increasing reliance on mobile data capture in mind, include a variety of new features:
- Lightweight, on-device OCR software that operates more efficiently than those of competitors
- Server-based OCR technology to enhance customer onboarding processes
- Kofax Mobile Credit & Debit Card Framework to easily capture payment data from credit card images
- Pre-built analytics and dashboards to give complete insight into mobile application use and engagement
In addtion, Lexmark also announced the integration of the Kofax Mobile Credit & Debit Card Framework into Kofax TotalAgility, which it says is the "first unified platform for developing and deploying smart process applications." In their press release, Reynolds C. Bish, vice president of Lexmark and president of Lexmark Enterprise Software said “Mobile is the preferred and primary channel of engagement for today’s customers.
